Wine style
Grenache and Syrah give birth to this lively rosé, which has been a great success year after year. On the nose, very pleasant aromas of fresh fruit.
On the palate, it’s lively and well-balanced, with a saline finish that bears witness to our volcanic terroir.
The little extras of winemaking
This rosé wine has been vinified using the direct pressing technique: the grapes are harvested without waiting until they are too ripe and pressed directly in a pneumatic press.
By cooling the grapes to 4°C, we are able to separate the thickest must from the rich, aromatic juice in just a few days, which we then add back to the fermenting must.
This reintegration of the juice from the lees gives our Dolce Farniente even greater aromatic richness.
