Chaïchaï
Red wine | IGP Pays d’Hérault | Grenache & Carignan
The ephemeral vintage
Allegria’s new summer cuvée. An elegant, crisp infusion of Carignan and Grenache, full of freshness and fruit.
Wine style
The colour is pale red, somewhere between a rosé and a red.
On the palate, it’s an explosion of strawberries and raspberries.
The little extras of winemaking
We left the grapes to infuse as whole bunches, with a short maceration of one week at 20°C to avoid extracting any tannins and preserve those overflowing aromas of crushed strawberries and raspberries.
The detail that appeals
A little anecdote? The reference to tea is a nod to our travels in India, where street vendors shout Chaï Chäi on the trains.
The perfect time
A lovely summer evening as an aperitif, served refined between 14 and 15°C.
